Câu hỏi 33 :

Read the statements below and decide whether they are TRUE (T) or FALSE (F).
Trust is the key to teamwork in the best teams and relationships. To be able to anticipate what is going to happen during a play or a relationship, you need to be able to trust the other person. A quarterback is not going to throw the ball in advance to a receiver if he does not trust that the receiver knows the route and will be there for it. A relationship cannot progress without trust.
Many people struggle with this, especially if they have been hurt in past relationships. Trust is not something that is just freely given. It is something that is earned. This is true both in relationships and in teams. The teamwork definition that we discussed was “the combined action of a group of people.” When people do not trust each other, it is very difficult to get them to work together to accomplish something. In a relationship, if you don’t feel like you can trust the other person, you are going to be unwilling to go to a deeper level with them. If the other person doesn’t feel like they can trust you, it’s going to be your job to earn their trust.
Earning trust is something that happens over time. In a sports team, it happens in practice. Players who practice running play together, so they can build confidence in themselves and in each other’s abilities. There is no practice in relationships. Instead, you build trust by proving yourself time and time again. It’s following through on what you say you’re going to do.
You need to trust others in teamwork to anticipate what is going to happen

Câu hỏi 76 :

Read the passage and fill in the blanks with ONE or TWO appropriate words
Parents have a common complaint that their children after a certain age tend to disrespect them. They look for more freedom and enjoy the company of their friends rather than staying at home. These all are the changes when the kids grow from teenagers to adulthood. This is the time when they want to be treated as big but the parents still consider them small. They want to take their own decisions but can’t because parents are there to take any important decisions regarding their children. So these issues sometimes create a problem and this is when the generation gap comes in. Even though the parents try to fulfill the needs of their children and understand them, children feel that parents are interfering in their personal life by asking too many questions.
There are lots of activities which interest the kids more but parents are not willing with it. Dating as well as discos are some of the places where the young generation likes to visit but parents and grandparents are not interested in such places. The atmosphere is changing and also the needs and therefore the parents take time to adjust according to the present scenario. The things which are disliked by the parents are the things which are most enjoyed by the young generation, so this becomes a source of problem, thus increasing the gap between the parents and their children.
This increasing gap is a common scenario in all the families and the parents should take the initiative to bridge the gap and take steps for it. Instead of arguing with your children and avoiding the discussion, it will be good that you take a step forward and talk to your children.
When the kids grow from teenagers to adulthood, they want_________and enjoy spending time with friends.
