Hearing that you will come to Viet Nam this occasion, it will be so great if you can stay and celebrate Tet with us.

You know? There are many festivals in Viet Nam but I like Tet Holiday the most, which is also known as Lunar New Year holiday in Vietnam.

Tet is mostly held at the end of January and beginning of February. Before Tet, people usually prepare special food, clean and decorate the house. The house is decorated by couplets, peach blossom or apricot blossom. We also make banh chung, A traditional dish can't be missing at Tet holiday.

On Tet holiday, family reunion, we wear new clothes to go to relatives' house .We wish each other the best wishes and hope more luck will come. Especially, on this occasion, children receive lucky money from adults as a way to send good wishes in a new year. As for me, during Tet, I like to sit on the roof watching fireworks and eat jam with my family. It's so warm.
Tet is an occasion to say goodbye to the old year and welcome the new year. As a start to get rid of all the debts and difficulties to start a year full of luck.

I love this period of time so much and look forward to it every year. We can do many thing at Tet. I will show you some more.

Tet is coming , I will tell about how do I celebrate Tet . At Tet , firstly , I clean my house and decorate this with many flowers . Secondly , I go to the market with my mother to buy some food , drinks and peach flowers . When we go home , we make some special foods . Thirdly , I watch fireworks on New Year's Eve and get lucky money . Children should make a wish and dress beautifully at Tet . But we shouldn't break thing and play games all night . And I like going out and having fun best at Tet.
