So sánh hơn:  S + to be + adj + er + than + Noun/ Pronoun

                      S + V + more/less + adj/adv + than + N/pronoun 

Trường hợp bất quy tắc

well - better - the best

bad - worse - the worst

2. It’s two years since I last went to the dentist’s

S + have/has + not + for + time

= It's + time + since + S + last + Ved/V2: Lần cuối cùng làm gì

3.  After having spent seven years at secondary school I went to university

4. He denied stealing the car

deny + V-ing: phủ nhận làm gì

5.  If I were you, I'd take more exercise

Câu điều kiện loại 2 diễn  tả những giả định trái với thực tế ở hiện tại:

If + S + V( quá khứ đơn ), S + would/could/might + Vinf

1. I don’t play tennis as well as you do.

=> You play tennis better than I do.

2. I haven’t been to the dentist’s for two years.

=> It’s two years since I last went to the dentist’s.

3. I spent seven years at secondary school and then I went to university.

=> After having spent seven years at secondary school I went to university.

5.It’s my opinion that you should take more exersise.

=> If I were you, I would take more exercise

4.He said he was not guilty of stealing the car.

=> He denied stealing the car

Câu điều kiện loại 2 được dùng để nói về một sự việc KHÔNG THỂ thực sự xảy ra trong hiện tại nếu có một điều kiện nào đó.

If + Past simple, S + Would/could/… + V

For+khoảng thời gian

Since+mốc thời gian

Công thức so sánh hơn S + to be + adj + er + than + Noun/ Pronoun

Trường hợp bất quy tắc

well->better->the best

badly->worse->the worst

little->less->the least

S + have/has not + for + time= It's + time + since + S + last + V2/ed
