Social media has become one of the crucial connectivity tools nowadays. It is true that social networking is harmful to the younger generation's social skills. While I agree that the use of the internet is damaging, however,  there are also some advantages.

First and foremost, children and teenagers widely use social media, according to some surveys, they spend the majority of their time daily surfing on these apps. As a result, it negatively affects children, distracting them, and disrupting sleep. they might be at heightened risk for mental health problems. Teenagers who used social media more than three times a day may be predicted to have poor mental health and well-being. Moreover, they are exposed to cyberbullying and online sexual harassment which can also lead to depression and anxiety.

On the other hand, social networking allows teens to communicate, make friends worldwide, exploring other cultures. They also use it for entertainment, learning from it several subjects, including healthy behaviors, and the most important thing is that it prevents the young generation from depression and stress.

In conclusion, despite its benefits, if we use online social communication inefficiently, it will harm teenagers, prevent them from communicating with each other in reality, and lead children to many serious problems, so people should only use social media for a limited time and try to improve social skills more.
