What is science, what is technology, between science and technology? A good way to understand the relationship between science and technology is to think of them as two processes which work together. On one hand, there is science, which is the process of coming up with new ideas that are based on theories. These ideas can be anything from a more efficient vacuum cleaner to an idea for how to make gold from other metals such as copper and zinc. Science can be said to deal with knowledge or understanding the natural world around us. So what is the roles of science and technology in our societ y nowadays? The answer is, it depends. Science is a set of knowledge-the understanding and knowledge of how nature works. Feeding people with the right amount of food, growing good crops for our food needs, supplying clean water to drinkable standards are some of them. These are all science. So science is the process of coming up with new ideas or theories, then technology is the practical implementation of those ideas.
