- Prepare:
Color paper
Pencil
Ruler
Glue
1 piece of wool string (if needed to make a spinning rope for a lantern or you can use paper to make it)
- Doing:

Step 1: Prepare a sheet of A4 color paper, then fold the paper in half vertically so that the edges coincide and are very neat.

Step 2: Draw parallel lines on the paper about 1 - 1.5cm, the ends of the paper should leave about 2cm. Then use scissors to cut the lines drawn.

Note: You should use a ruler to measure the equal distance so that when cutting the lantern, it will be even, more beautiful.
Fold and cut the paper into 1cm-microfibers to create a frame for the lantern
Step 3: Open this folded paper and fold it horizontally, then use glue to connect the top and bottom edges together tightly.

Step 4: Use a pen to punch two holes at opposite sides at the top of the lantern, thread the string of wool to make a handle. Or use another piece of colored paper about 15cm length glued to one end of the lantern to form the lantern handle. So you have completed a very simple paper lantern.
Cut other colored paper and stick it on or draw on lanterns to decorate it beautifully

Gấp và cắt giấy thành từng sợi nhỏ khoảng 1cm để tạo khung cho lồng đèn
Bước 3: Mở tờ giấy gập này ra và gấp tròn lại theo chiều ngang rồi dùng keo dán nối hai mép giấy đầu và cuối lại với nhau cho thật chặt.

Bước 4: Dùng bút đục hai lỗ hai bên đối diện nhau ở đầu trên của chiếc đèn lồng, luồn dây len vào để làm quai. Hoặc dùng một đoạn giấy màu khác có độ dài khoảng 15cm dán vòng cung vào một đầu của chiếc lồng đèn để tạo thành tay cầm lồng đèn. Như vậy bạn đã hoàn thành xong chiếc đèn lồng giấy vô cùng đơn giản rồi.
