Out of all the festivals, I like the Lunar New Year the most, It is also known as Tet. It Lasts from the 1st to the 3rd of the first lunar month. Tet begins with everyone's hope for a happy and lucky new year. Before Tet started, People clean their houses and decorate them with colorful flowers and many kumquat trees, They buy sweets and cook Chung cake. As soon as Tết begins, people visit their relatives, give lucky money, go to pagodas are activities to do on this occasion. Tet is the most important tradition in Vietnam as it is the time for family members to return home and gather together. So everyone forgets about their struggles and focuses on making the celebration as festive as possible. I like this festival because it is very meaningful and it gives me happiness to be with my family.
