My favorite folk tale is Little Red Riding Hood. The story is about a little girl, called the Little Red Riding Hood, going into the woods to come to her house to give food to her sick grandmother. A wolf watched over her and made plans to eat her. The wolf asked where the girl was going and she innocently answered, and then the wolf told her to pick flowers. Meanwhile, the wolf came to the house to eat the grandmother and pretended to be the grandmother of the little red riding hood. When she arrived, she was also eaten by a wolf. A hunter came to operate the wolf's belly, saving both the little girl and her grandmother. Stone was placed in the wolf's belly and killed the wolf. After all, Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother lived happily together.

Tam and Cam are two sisters from different mothers. Tam is the eldest son, Cam is the second wife. Tam's mother passed away when she was a child, and soon after that, her father also passed away. Tam lives with his stepmother, Cam's mother. Her stepmother was a cruel and cruel person who forced Tam to work hard all day and Cam was pampered and dressed happily. Dịch Tấm và Cám là hai chị em cùng cha khác mẹ. Tấm là con vợ cả, Cám là con vợ hai. Mẹ Tấm mất từ hồi nàng còn bé, sau đó không lâu thì cha nàng cũng qua đời. Tấm sống với dì ghẻ là mẹ của Cám. Dì ghẻ là người cay nghiệt và độc ác bắt Tấm làm việc vất vả nặng nhọc cả ngày còn Cám thì được nuông chiều ăn sung mặc sướng.  Một lần dì ghẻ đưa cho hai chị em Tấm Cám mỗi người một cái giỏ để ra đồng bắt tôm tép, Cám đã lừa Tấm trút hết tôm tép trong giỏ của mình và chỉ để lại cho Tấm duy nhất một con cá Bống. Tấm mang cá Bống về nuôi, ngày ngày nàng đều lén đem cơm cho cá Bống ăn. Biết chuyện mẹ con Cám bèn giết thịt cá Bống. Vua mở hội, mẹ con Cám sửa soạn quần áo đẹp để đi chơi, bắt Tấm ở nhà nhặt thóc trộn gạo. Bụt hiện lên giúp đỡ Tấm chuẩn bị quần áo đẹp để đi chơi hội, trên đường trở về nhà Tấm đã đánh rơi chiếc hài. Nhà vua nhặt được và tuyên bố nếu ai đi vừa chiếc hài đó ngài sẽ lấy làm vợ. Tấm thử hài thì vừa in và trở thành hoàng hậu sống hạnh phúc bên vua. Mẹ con Cám không chịu lập mưu giết hại Tấm. Tấm chết liền hoa thân thành chim vàng anh, cây xoan đào, khung cửi, quả thị. Kết thúc truyện Tấm và nhà vua xum họp sống hạnh phúc bên nhau suốt đời, mẹ con Cám làm việc ác nên phải chịu quả báo.
