Perhaps all of us have always been taught by our parents to always love and help people around, especially those in difficult circumstances and so do I. Just yesterday, I did a good deed that was praised by my parents, so I was very excited.
I still vividly remember what happened yesterday. It was a sweltering hot summer day that made everyone feel uncomfortable and just wanted to go home as quickly as possible. I'm on my way home from school and I just want to run home as fast as possible so I can sit down and have a cool meal. While walking, I suddenly met an old man standing on the side of the road with a cane. It seems that her eyes are blurred and can't see anything because I see that she keeps trying to find the way with a stick but can't cross the road. Seeing that, I did not hesitate to run to him and ask him:
- Grandpa, are you okay? I see you standing here forever if you catch the sun.
Hearing someone ask questions, he took my hand and said:
- Can you guide me across the street? His eyes were so blurry he couldn't see anything.
"Yes," I happily accepted.
Then I told her to hold my hand firmly and I began to lead her across the street. Everyone wanted to go home quickly, but when they saw me leading the old man across the street, everyone stopped to wait. Therefore, my uncle and I were able to cross the road very easily. Then he thanked me and went back to his house. When I got home, I immediately showed it to my parents and everyone praised me so I was very happy.
Although this is only a small job, it has helped others, so I feel very happy. I told myself that I would do a lot of other good things to help people around.
