Tich Dien field under King Gia Long was located in two wards, Hoa Thai and Ngong Tri in the Citadel. In 1828, realizing that this place was a low-lying land, King Minh Mang ordered the move to two wards An Trach and Hau Sinh.

After the ceremony was over, the great music and minor music sent to pick up the king to Cu Phuc palace, where the king changed into the cuu-long hat and royal robes and rested for a while. At the field office, everything was rearranged for the last time, very carefully. 4 periods of old farmer helping plow and lead buffalo. 2 road officials Ho lo offering to plow and sow seeds standing on the right of the field, facing east. The government of Thua Thien holds the whip, the rice basket stands on the left, facing the west. When the ceremony is over, go to the front of the platform and do 5 prostrations.

After the ceremony, the buffalo classes (yellow and black) are transferred to Thua Thien government to receive and then give to farmers in Phu Xuan commune to take care of them. The whips, plows, baskets, and paddy are handed over to Vo Kho for storage. Rice sown in Tich Dien field is assigned to farmers in Phu Xuan commune to take care of, and when the rice is ripe, it is harvested under the management of the government. Thua Thien Phu coordinated with the Ministry of Households to select this rice as seed to sow for next year's plowing season. If there is any left over, it will be stored and milled to be used as sacrifices in the sacrifice ceremony at the Nam Giao herd and at the shrines.
