In Hue, the Temple of Literature is located on the bank of the Huong river, to the West the Citadel, just 1 kilometer from Linh Mu Pagoda. Hue Temple of Literature was built in 1908 during the reign of Emperor Gia Long, the top of a hill. Over the years afterwards, the temple has gone through several major restoration works.
