Da Nang is located in the coated of the central region of Vietnam,which is bounded on the North by Thua Thien Hue,on the West and South by Quang Nam ,on the East by Dong Sea.According to the statistic data of 2011, the city has the total area of 1,247,46 km², the population of 887,435 people.Except Kinh poeple ,there are some other ethnic groups living in the city, including Chinese,Co Tu, and Tay, ect.. Da Nang is the major economy, culture, education, science and technology in the Central and Highlands regions, which is on rapid developing process. In consecutive years of 2008, 2009, 2010, Da Nang was ranked on the top of the provincial competitive index, and the infrastructure index, on the fourth of the investment envỉronment index. Da Nang has focused on developing some key industries such as fisheries, textile, footwears, and rubber, ect.
