Spring comes with drizzle rain, with warm new rays, with peach wings, bright apricot wings spread and with festive atmosphere jubilantly across the country. This year, Hanoi capital organized a boat racing festival in West Lake.

The festival takes place on the 9th of lunar January, to create a joyful spring atmosphere and enhance the spirit of community solidarity. The opening ceremony took place with many special art performances and bustling spring drums. On the river, twenty-seven dragon boats are decorated with bright red or yellow gold trim. They even installed a seven-color flag at the end of the boat. Each boat wore a different uniform and wore an orange life jacket outside. Participants are smiling, ready to join the race. When the drums rang out to signal the start of the race, the boatmen swung their steering wheel. Paddle splash surface water. Along the lake, the audience cheered. The willow, milk flower or steering wheel there also leaned in the wind as if the race was going on jubilantly. The wind on the lake was quite large, causing the flag to flutter. The drums are constantly ringing to energize the regatta teams. Everyone cheered for the championship team.
