There is no denying that Vietnam has a rich cuisine. Most traditional Vietnamese foods are made from fresh ingredients: herbs, bean sprouts, tomatoes, to name a few. Rice is the most popular ingredient used in Vietnam. Vietnamese eat rice on a daily basis. Rice is also frequently used to make many different types of noodles. Some of the popular Vietnamese noodles are: Pho, bun cha, vermicelli, banh canh. These dishes are served with special homemade broth. Vietnamese drinks are also very diverse. If you come to Vietnam for the first time, sugar-cane juice is a must try. The second popular Vietnamese drink is “ca phe sua da”, which translates to iced milk coffee. I love Vietnamese cuisine and I hope that my country’s cuisine will become more and more ubiquitous.

I am passionate about food and drink. If I can only eat one food for the rest of my life, it would be fried chicken. I believe the popular fried chicken I am talking about is from South America. It is deep fried chicken covered in flour or breadcrumbs. A perfect piece of fried chicken should be juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. People love having fried chicken for lunch and dinner, sided with some French fries and a soda. Fried chicken is popular not only in America but also everywhere. Korean fried chicken is also very delicious. Korean usually have fried chicken with beer. I hope that fried chicken restaurants will always open so I can enjoy this dish whenever I want.
