Hello everybody, today i would like to talk about my topic ''weddings in Viet Nam''

The wedding is a particular ceremony day of a couple. On that day the man and the woman get married. Depending on their financial family, they will celebrate a big or small wedding. Most Vietnamese people try to celebrate as big a wedding as they can afford, because this is an opportunity that they can show their honor and how rich they are…..

I think the wedding ceremony is a nice tradition of Vietnamese culture. It is also an important tradition because it shows the identity culture of Vietnamese. Vietnamese should preserve and develop it in the future.

Tôi nghĩ đám cưới là một nét truyền thống đẹp trong văn hóa Việt Nam. Đó cũng là một truyền thống đặc biệt bởi nó thể hiện bản sắc văn hóa của người Việt. Người Việt nên bảo tồn và phát triển nó trong tương lai

Hello, everyone. Let me share with you about the wedding ceremony in Vietnam. 

Like many other countries, the wedding in Vietnam is a particular couple ceremony day, on which the man and the woman get married. Depending on their financial status of the family, they will celebrate either a big or a small wedding. In the past, a wedding consisted of six parts, however, nowadays most weddings have only three main parts: Permission ceremony, Betrothal ceremony and Wedding reception. According to the three steps, the groom’s family will first go to the bride’s family to ask for their permission to bring the bride home. An official announcement of the couple’s marriage will be made in the second step, which usually happens a month or two before the wedding reception. In the last step, the groom and his family will go to the bride’s house with a decorated car and flower bouquet to bring the bride to her family. After this ceremony, a wedding party will be held. Vietnamese traditional weddings can show the culture identity, so we should maintain them.
