Huong Pagoda is located in Huong Son Province, Hanoi. Every year, it has a lot of tourists visit the Huong Pagoda festival, which is considered the nation’s longest and has the largest source of income in Vietnam. It takes place from the 15th to the 20th day of the second lunar month Huong Pagoda Festival does not center around traditional games, but rather mainly consists of sightseeing trips to pagodas, temples, and caves as well as visiting ceremonies to ask favors from Lord Buddha. This place attracts visitors not only with its wonderful landscape but also with its sense of philosophy embodied inside its splendid caves. A pilgrimage to the Huong Pagoda Festival is not only for religious reasons, but to see the numerous natural shapes and the buildings that are valuable artifacts of the nation.

Hello, I'm Chi. My favourite festival is the Tet holiday. It occurs on the first day of the Lunar Calendar to express respect for the ancestors and welcome the new year with luck and happiness. Everyone cleans up and decorates their house with peach blossom, apricot blossom, kumquat tree, and many colourful lanterns to prepare for this occasion. On New Year's Eve, people often play cards or watch a Tet program named Year-end meeting. During Tet, several customs make it a unique festival. For instance, the children can wear nice clothes, visit relatives and receive lucky money with a red envelope because the adults believe that it can bring good fortune for children. Moreover, our grandma and mother always go to temples or pagodas to make good pray for their family. To sum up, Tet is a meaningful event to all Vietnamese.
