I love to listen to Pop music, and my favorite Pop singer is Justin Bieber – or can be known as the Prince of Pop. He is a Canadian singer and songwriter. At first, he was just an ordinary school boy with a huge love for music; but after his mother posted a video of the performance in his local singing competition as well as his other covers, he began to have his first fans. That was an accident when a famous former marketing executive clicked on one of Justin’s video, but he was quickly impressed with the voice and performing style of that teenage boy. Later on, he tracked down Justin’s information, and Justin had a chance to step on the glamorous world of Hollywood. He signed many exclusive contracts, cooperated with various famous singers as well as producers, hosted hundreds of tours all over the world, and become the Prince of Pop. With a sweet voice and a good looking appearance, it is no wonder why he can win millions hearts of girls and even boys. Beside his singing career, he also writes and produces a lot of his songs. He is a perfect simple of an ideal boyfriend who both has talent and style. However, the fame at a very young age causes him to take on a wrong path. He plays with some bad friends, goes to inappropriate places, and takes part in a lot of parties. His singing career seems to go to the end, but luckily he woke up from that nightmare and decides to start his life all over again. Any one of us can make mistakes, but the important thing is we know how to stand up after we fall. Justin Bieber is not only a Pop star, but he is also a mirror for all of young people.

Last December, Mesut Özil must have known well the risks he faced when he decided to make a public, sensational accusation against the Chinese government for its treatment of people. The Uighurs, a largely Muslim minority in the Xinjiang Autonomous Region, and the "complicit" silence of the international community.







Friends and advisers warned Özil, Arsenal midfielder, that this move would have serious consequences. He will certainly be "faced" in the Chinese market. Six million followers of the German star on Weibo, the largest social network in the country, will "evaporate". His fan club there – with about 50,000 official members – will also be a thing of the past. Özil will never be able to play in China. He may even be "avoided as evil" by every club with Chinese owners, or sponsors who want to "do business" in this market.

Özil is well aware of those dark scenarios. He was already aware of China's angry reaction - the entire country - to a tweet by Daryl Morey, general manager of the Houston Rockets basketball team in the NBA, just weeks earlier. However, Özil remained adamant. His indignation has grown larger and larger at the situation in Xinjiang for months, after watching documentaries and following the news. He believes he has a mission in the matter, he told his advisers, to put pressure on other Muslim countries - including Turkey, where the president Recep Tayyip Erdogan was once the best man at Özil's wedding – forcing them to intervene quickly.

And so he tweeted.

This tweet caused a great stir. Özil was convinced that was the moment when everything changed. Arsenal is also adamant. It will be difficult to reconcile the differences of opinion of the two sides - Arsenal and Özil. Maybe both sides are right. Maybe they're all wrong. Neither Arsenal nor Özil are willing to discuss their differences of opinion.

The consequences that followed this event were as expected. Days after Özil made his risky decision, two Premier League broadcast partners in China, CCTV and PP Sports, refused to broadcast an Arsenal match. When PP Sports accepted to continue showing Arsenal matches, the station's commentators refused to read Özil's name.

The avatar of the German star has been removed from the video games. Chinese internet users who search for the keyword "Mesut Özil" will only receive an error message. It was once reported that his Weibo account had been disabled, but that was a false rumor.
