Spinning, also known as tickling, is a popular folk game in most of Vietnam's ethnic groups. This is an outdoor game mainly for boys but also played by young people and the elderly, may have other names depending on ethnicity such as beating tu lu (HMong people) ...The gyro is usually made of good, durable wood, usually pine; or any kind of wood that is easy to cut the horns of animals. The gyroscope is composed of 3 main parts: the body, the rotating nail and the hook for winding the wire.Participants follow the command to hit the gyroscope on the playing field, whoever spins the longest is considered the winner, the sound from the gyroscope sounds very pleasant. The player can also draw a circle on the ground and let the gyro spin in it.It's very fun!
