Cicadas are chirping, signaling the arrival of summer. I sat in the classroom and looked towards the schoolyard. The large school yard is covered with sunlight. The phoenix trees bloomed with red flowers. My feelings are a bit mixed. A little hope and a little regret. Summer is coming, we will be resting after tiring days of studying. We will have trips to relax with family. But summer comes, along with the vacation, my friends and I will have to be apart for a while. I won’t be able to see my teachers, I won’t be able to go to school. I love the summer showers. I often sit on the porch and watch the city in the rain. The heavy rain made everything blurry. Summer rains come and go quickly. After the rain, it can be sunny again as if nothing happened. Because the temperature of the summer is quite high, I usually limit going out. Summer brings me many memories. So I always have a special affection for summer.
