while we may have long since put away childish things, swapped our blazers and satchels for smart suits and shoulder bags, and our trudge to school for the office commute, when it comes to the fairytales that formed the nightly narratives of our youth, for some reason we’re a little more loath to let go.

From needing to “kiss a few frogs” to “finding our happy ever after”, watching endless romcoms that mirror the stories we fell asleep to, not to mention the next-level excitement that greets any kind of royal wedding, we’re clearly still hooked on these less-than-likely tales, however little relation they bear to the more troll and ogre-packed realities of daily life.

So why are we so keen to see fairy tales come true? And why do these narratives stay with us well beyond our childhood (and despite everything we’ve learned along the way)?

Through the story conveyed to children, children will recognize these good characters and tend to learn and follow. That is why, if you expose children to these stories as early as possible, the more they will cultivate good moral qualities. Every common fairy tale brings a certain good character such as: honesty; know how to care and share with people; help each other in life; the virtue of not being afraid of difficulties, courage...
