Khmer people are a Southeast Asian ethnic group native to Cambodia, accounting for 97.6% of the country's 15.9 million people. They speak the Khmer language, which is part of the larger Austroasiatic language family found throughout eastern and central India and Bangladesh, in other parts of Southeast Asia (including Vietnam), South China and numerous islands in the Indian Ocean. The majority of the Khmer are followers of the Khmer style of Buddhism, a highly syncretic version that blends elements of Theravada Buddhism, Hinduism, animism and veneration of the dead. Significant populations of Khmers reside in adjacent areas of Thailand (Northern Khmer) and the Mekong Delta region of neighboring Vietnam (Khmer Krom), while there are over one million Khmers in the Cambodian diaspora living mainly in France, the United States and Australia.

In Vietnam, there are 54 ethnic groups. But the ethnic group that interests me the most is the Muong ethnic group. The Muong are often called and Mol, Moan, and Mual are an ethnic group living in the northern midlands and mountainous areas of Vietnam. The Muong have a very close relationship with the Kinh people, having the same origin as the Kinh people. The Muong live sedentary lives in mountainous areas, where there is a lot of productive land, near roads, and convenient for doing business. The Muong have been farming for a long time. Paddy rice is the main food crop. And typical handicrafts of the Muong people are weaving, knitting, and silk weaving. Many Muong women weave by hand with quite sophisticated techniques. Ở Việt Nam có 54 dân tộc . Nhưng dân tộc mà làm tôi quan tâm nhất đó là dân tộc Mường . Người Mường thường được gọi và Mol, Moan, Mual là một dân tộc sống ở vùng trung du và miền núi phía Bắc Việt Nam. Người Mường có quan hệ rất gần với người Kinh, có cùng nguồn gốc với người Kinh.Người Mường sống định canh định cư ở miền núi, nơi có nhiều đất sản xuất, gần đường giao thông, thuận tiện cho việc làm ăn. Người Mường làm ruộng từ lâu đời. Lúa nước là cây lương thực chủ yếu. Và nghề thủ công tiêu biểu của người Mường là dệt vải, đan lát, ươm tơ. Nhiều phụ nữ Mường dệt thủ công với kỹ thuật khá tinh xảo. Tôi rất thích người Mường vì họ thân thiện và đa văng hoá
