Spring comes with gentle drizzle, with warm new rays of sunshine, with peach and apricot petals blooming brilliantly and with jubilant festive atmosphere all over the country. This year, the capital Hanoi holds a boat racing festival in West Lake.

The festival takes place on the 9th day of the first lunar month, in order to create a joyful spring atmosphere and improve community solidarity. The opening ceremony took place with many special art performances and the sound of drums to open the spring. On the river, twenty-seven dragon boats are decorated with alternating bright red or green gold borders. They also planted a seven-color flag at the stern of the boat. Each boat wears a different uniform and wears an orange life jacket over it. The race participants are smiling, ready to join the race. When the sound of drums signaled the start of the race, the jockeys swung their oars. The oars bounced on the water. By the lake, the audience cheered and cheered. The willows, milk flowers or mausoleums there also lean against the wind as if they knew the race was going on jubilantly. The wind on the lake is quite strong, making the flag flutter. The drums sounded endlessly to give strength to the boat racing teams. Everyone cheered and congratulated the winning team.

I felt the boat racing festival that day was very fun, exciting and passionate. Indeed, traditional festivals always leave our generation with valuable insights. I hope to see this festival again next spring.

Mid-Autumn Festival is my favorite festival. Mid-Autumn Festival is not only celebrated in Vietnam but also all over Asia such as China, Japan, and Korea...Mid-Autumn Festival takes place on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month every year. On this day, the moon will be roundest and brightest, symbolizing the reunion and reunion of the family. So on this day, families and friends often gather together to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. The Mid-Autumn Festival always has very interesting activities such as: lantern procession, lion dance, banquet presentation, moon viewing, moon cake eating...For me, the Mid-Autumn Festival is the most exciting and wonderful New Year's Day
