My favourite festival is Christmas. It celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ. It is an important festival in theWest. I love this festival because it brings a long holiday to us to enjoy ourselves.Every year before Christmas, my family and I buy some presents for relatives and friends. We decorate our house with a lot of festive decorations. We put up a Christmas tree in the living room and we decorate the tree with little angels, many beautiful bells and some little Santa Clauses. We also place a big star on top of the tree.On Christmas Eve, my sister and I put stockings beside our beds, and my parents secretly put some gifts inside the stockings. I will also put gifts secretly under the pillows of my parents to surprise them.During Christmas time, we have Christmas parties. I have parties with my family, relatives and friends. We prepare a lot of food such as turkey, Christmas cake, chicken wings and sausages. At the parties, I give Christmas cards to everyone and we exchange gifts with each other. Together we sing Christmas carols. Christmas is fun. I love this festival very much

During this exciting Autumn festival, making masks and lanterns is probably one of many activities that take place. A lot of groups of young Vietnamese have created unique and trendy lanterns yet can still preserve the traditional beauty. When I was a little kid and living in the countryside, our little alley was teeming with different teams of dragon dancers. Dragon dancers dance to every household in their village, it is like treat or trick in western culture, they will not stop until you give them some lucky money. And when speaking of Mid-Autumn, we can’t help but to mention the Moon cake. The round shape of the moon cake signifies completeness and reunion of families. Every time the Mid-Autumn Festival comes back, my family becomes warmer than ever.  I love Mid-Autumn Festival so much

Trong lễ hội mùa thu này, làm mặt nạ và đèn lồng hẳn là một trong số các hoạt động sẽ được tổ chức. Nhiều nhóm người Việt Nam trẻ tuổi đã tạo ra những chiếc đèn lồng độc đáo mà hiện đại mà vẫn giữ gìn được vẻ đẹp truyền thống. Khi tôi còn là một đứa trẻ và sống tại vùng nông thôn, con ngõ nhỏ của chúng tôi có nhiều nhóm múa rồng khác nhau. Những người múa rồng sẽ múa đến mọi ngôi nhà trong làng, giống như văn hóa “cho kẹo hay bị ghẹo” tại phương tây, họ sẽ không dừng cho đến khi bạn cho họ chút tiền may mắn. Và khi đề cập đến Tết Trung Thu, chúng ta không thể không đề cập đến bánh trung thu. Hình dáng tròn của bánh trung thu biểu tượng cho sự vẹn toàn và đoàn tụ của gia đình. Mỗi khi trung thu veef gia đình tôi lại trở lên ấm cúng hơn bao giờ hết. Tôi  yêu ngày trung thu nhiều!!!
