My best friend in high school is Lan. Lan sits next to me in class, eats with me at break time, and hangs out with me after school. She has beautiful and long hair; my mother always says that I need to pay more attention to my hair so it can be pretty as hers. I am good at English while Lan is excellent in Math, therefore we can help each other every time one of us has trouble in understanding those subjects. Besides our study, Lan is always by my side whenever I feel upset. I tell her everything, and only she can know my true feelings. We have been best friends since our young age, and I will keep this friendship forever.

During my years in fundamental school, I had many good friends. But during the five years I went to school, among those friends, I had a first friend from first grade until now. That's Nam. Nam and I met each other in class. Nam is not only a close friend at school but also a childhood friend, a neighbor next door. We're both boys, so our interests are quite similar. Contrary to the girls who like to keep their hair long and beautiful, me and Nam cut their hair short. Because we also play a lot of good games together, it doesn't feel too uncomfortable when we sweat. Nam has a slightly dark skin tone because of his childhood days when he used to fly kites with his brother or play catch with the neighborhood children. He has a tall build, especially his long legs, so Nam is the fastest runner in the class. Nam has bright eyes, always flexible. My mother said that people with eyes like that are very smart. Indeed, that is true. Men are very brilliant. In class, he was always the one who raised his hand carefully to speak. Although he is only a fifth grader, sometimes Nam has questions that surprise his teachers. Nam's tests always get high marks and are at the top of his class. Not only during class hours, but also in class activities, Nam also enthusiastically participates. Sometimes when he is sick, he is always the one to volunteer to copy lessons for friends. Even the two of them study together in the library. Nam is indeed a good friend with whom I want to keep my friendship in the future.
