In my family, housework is split evenly between our four members: my parents, my sister and I. My mom always prepare and cook breakfast and dinner. As she goes to work during the days, my sister and I take turns cooking lunch, washing the dishes and doing the laundry. For example, if she make lunch and do the laundry today, I have to wash the dishes and next day we will swap roles. My dad, being the only one that knows how to fix hardwares and domestic appliances, does all the fixing. Burned out bulbs, malfunctioning controllers, broken chairs, whatever you throw at him, he can fix it. We also have a petite decorative rooftop garden, so a different person will water the plants each day. Twice a week, one of us will sweep the house and another clean it. All in all, I think housework is shared pretty fairly in my family.
