The purpose of this talk is to give you information about fast food and how fast food affects our body. To begin with, I would like to share the definition of fast food with you. Fast food is a type of food that is prepared and served quickly and people often enjoy within a short period of time. It is associated with the development of urban areas when people become more and more busy with their lives and they need fast food so that they can save time or cost. However, fast food can harm us if we eat too much. Fast food products can lead to the risk of heart diseases because they contain a lot of sugar or salt. Moreover, fast food can make our respiratory system become weak. When there is an excess of calories in the body, it can cause weight gain and obesity, leading to an increased risk of respiratory diseases such as shortness of breath and asthma. When the weight is out of control, it can put pressure on the heart and lungs and we will feel difficult to breathe. Another consequence is that fast food can affect our skin health. For example, greasy fried foods and chocolate are the causes of acne. To sum up, fast food is the most common cause of obesity and it has bad influence on our respiratory system, skin health. As we know, good health is one of the most important things in our life. Therefore, we have to think carefully before we eat any fast food items.
