   There are amny benefits of participating is community service. The most important benefit is that we have opportunities to help other people who are in need. We improve someone's life, we make our community better, and we get to see the direct effect of our work.

   When we work for commnity service, we can gain hand-on experience. We can learn a lot of skills while performing the services such as customer service skills, teaching skills and medical skills. Moreover, we can learn about different careers. For example, if we spend time helping sick people in hospital, we can learn about the work of a nurse or a doctor.

   Doing community service has person benefits as well. It often make us more organized, reponsible, and skillful. Besides, it also helps us to make friends. Community service is often done in groups, so it is easy to make friends with the people we are working with. We may become friends with the people we are helping.
