Did you tell me in the last letter that you will come to my Vietnam next summer. I am so happy about that. So, I want to introduce you to a place that is considered an interesting tourist destination here. That's Hoi An! The place I feel most wonderful is Hoi An. There are many interesting things you can do here, but I think you can do three things in one day. First, you can go for a walk around the streets surrounded by the atmosphere of times gone by. Especially, if you visit the town during the full moon, you can enjoy the beautiful lights from colourful lanterns. Secondly, you can get some new threads. One of Hoi An’s biggest tourist drawing cards is the tailors that line the streets in the centre of town. Whatever you want to be made, someone can make it happen as quickly as within 24 hours. Last but not least, as a cuisine lover, you should definitely treat yourself to various special dishes here. I suggest that you try Cao Lau with an authentic taste at Mermaid Restaurant. If you want to find something a little adventurous, you can also taste egg coffee at Cafe 57, my favourite shop. Believe me! It would be really worth a try. Dear Fortuna , My country Vietnam is S-shaped with a temperate climate. A year has four distinct seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. The climate is quite warm and pleasant. Spring is the season of festivals and fun. The season of trees with hundreds of flowers blooming, sprouting buds, the season of youth and human love full of life. Autumn with a lucky wind with a chilly wind makes people want to breathe everything into their hearts. The season of falling yellow leaves fills the streets of the whole city as it is filled with yellow. Summer is the season of tourism because my country is surrounded by the sea. Winter here is not too cold, it is the season of weddings where people wait every day to warm each other up in winter. Summer with dry weather, the season of rain showers like pouring water down to irrigate green flowers. Dear Fortuna , My country is a very rich and beautiful country. There are many tourist areas that have been recognized by unesco as world heritages such as: Ha Long Bay, Phong Nha Ke Bang, Hoi An Ancient Town, Hue Royal Court Music... If you have the opportunity to come to Vietnam, I will be ready to be a tour guide for you. We will have a journey from North to South. The first place we stop will be the hometown of the beloved Uncle of my country, Nghe An. I want you to know that although Uncle Ho is a leader of the country, he still has a simple but noble life. The next point we go to will be the dreamy Hue. You will be watching the river of incense quietly drifting, it is reaching out to change direction but there is no sound at all. Still keep quiet. Then Hue girls wearing purple clothes are faithful to Hue's sweet and easy-going voice. And the point we cannot ignore is Da Nang with the name of a city worth living. You will be lying on the white My Khe beach, watching the waves crashing on the shore. The final destination is Hoi An. With long old streets, impeccable architecture, people here are peaceful and quiet. Vietnam, my hometown, has many beautiful things, I will introduce you gradually. Perhaps you have envisioned a part of my country Vietnam and understand why hard-working and heroic Vietnamese people love their homeland so much. The Vietnamese people are very open and hospitable.
