In my opinion, smoking should be banned in public places because it will harm the people around me. Banning smoking in public places is a good measure to avoid diseases caused by secondhand smoke. When we smoke, the people around us smoke and that is one of the reasons why people have one or more diseases. When pregnant women breathe in our smoke, their children can later contract strange diseases. Ban smoking in public places to minimize the diseases that cause people and if we want to avoid dangerous diseases that can lead to life-threatening diseases, we should practice quitting now.
