Subject: Tet holiday

Dear Quyen,
I'm very excited because our Tet holiday is coming. This year I will make Banh Chung and decorate my house. I will go for shopping to buy new things: clothes, furniture, sweets, fruit, apricot blossoms. I won't break dishes and fight with everyone. I won't eat shrimp because it will bring bad luck and eat many fast food.
Tet is a festival which occurs in late January or early February. And Vietnamese people have from 9 to 11 days for Tet holiday.

At Tet, people should get up early, dress beautifully, welcome New Year guest, gather with family, visit their relatives.

People shouldn’t light fireworks, clean the house on the 1st day of the new year.
