+Lùi thì

Ví dụ : động từ hiện tại đơn => quá khứ đơn

           động từ quá khứ đơn => quá khứ hoàn thành

+Đổi ngôi, đổi tân ngữ

ví dụ :I=>He, she

          You=>I, he, she, they (số nhiều)

+Đổi trạng từ chỉ nơi chốn, thời gian. 

ví dụ:Here=>There

          Now=>then

4.Mum said to me, “I'm angry with you.” 

=>Mum said she was angry with me.

5.Hung said, “I am doing my homework today.” 

=>Hung said he was doing his homework that day.
