Nowadays, school always organizes shows or concerts for students to take part in so as to improve their social skills. However, students think this activity takes them too much time while they are encouraged by their parents. In my point of view, I there are both benefits and drawbacks in this issue.

 To start with, I will clarify the term "Shows and concerts". In school, shows and concerts are just basically a mini-program in which students participate to show their talent or their skillful knowledge. This will help them to develop the mindset of the society which they may need in the future. Due to this, I cannot agree more with parents.

 However, students also need to spend more time focusing on their studying instead of doing this insignificant activity. As we can see, secondary students spend more than 50% time of the day to study and prepare for the next school day so time is to criteria which can not be wasted in such nonsense category.

 To sum up, shows and concerts can make students be confident in theirself and also bound some major skills. However, as we can see, time is also needed by them so parents should consider carefully about this.
