Drawing was not just a hobby, it was my life. Every single free minute of free time that I had, I spent it drawing.

Drawing gave me opportunities to express myself. To me, drawing is a way to put part of myself in a work of art and to express my identity to other people.

Besides that, drawing also has been proven to train the right brain. The right brain is where we get our creativity. When the right brain is used more often, you will soon see that you can have more solutions to overcome a certain problem.

Other than that, drawing also can make the hand more flexible or lead a person to learn to control his strength.

Believe it or not, drawing is also used in the medical field. A patient who suffers from depression, autism or mental illness is told to draw what they want on a paper. Later, a professional psychologist or a counselor will interpret the drawing which could tell them what is the root of the problems they are facing. The professional will then give them proper advice or medication, if needed to treat them.

In short, drawing has dozens of benefits. To me, it is not just a simple hobby, it is what I love to do. Drawing has given me so much, if you have the time, why not try it?

My hobby is drawing. Drawing is a way for me to show my creativity.I started this hobby 6 years ago. However drawing is not as easy as it seems to be. It needs a lot of devotion as well as practice. I learnt few concepts through text book containing different types of sketches. I have always intimated everything from those books such as rivers, hills, trees, human faces, clouds and animals. With days, my drawing improved step by steps & is still improving. I constantly make efforts to retain my hobby. Every year I gift my grandparents and parents with my drawing on their anniversaries because they are very fond of my drawings and always encourage me to practice more. My leisure hours are always occupied to my drawing paper, pen and brush. It is my believe that to display your art you do not have to be a great artist. You just have to make a unique piece. So get your confidence, your paint brush and pencil and start drawing.
