I have been studying English since I was in secondary, and I realized that English is an important subject that can bring me a lot of benefits. First of all, English is a good supporting subject for many skills. By following the grammars and rules, I can make more convincing arguments and demonstrating examples. Therefore, my writing skill and the way to perform in other subjects also improve. Besides, through practicing in speaking class; I can develop both my communicating and presenting skills. I am become a more confident person, and people start to compliment on the way I talk. Second, English is the key for me to open new doors to the ocean of knowledge. Most of the books for learning English are about general knowledge, science, news from around the world or interesting stories so they can attract readers. Many useful TV programs and works of art are also in English; therefore, I can gain a lot of knowledge and entertain myself while reading and watching them. Third, the effort that I use in studying English helps me to have more focus to the details in everything. By listening and choose the key information in every conversation as well as material, my skill to evaluate can be upgraded into a higher level. English also helps me to trains my patience in everything I am doing as well as the love to explore. Therefore, I am not only become a person who is interested in learning many things, but I am also careful in the studying process. In conclusion, every skill in English can have specifically positive impact on me. It is a good thing for me to discover the importance of it, and I will never stop learning this useful language.

A lot of schools and universities in different countries provide scholarships and courses in English. I am learning English hard to get an IELTS score of 6. 5 so that next year I can go to Australia to study. In conclusion, English is useful for me in various ways.
