In the olden days, it was common to see a family with ten or more children. Most of the time, they did not have enough to eat, beds to sleep on or the (1)….......chance...........…to go to school. The younger children always wore hand-me-downs. With both parents working, the older siblings were (2)…..expected .......to take care of the domestic chores and the young ones.
