Nowadays some parents give money to their children if they perform well at school.
I think this would be good for students but we shouldn't be allowed to make students too dependent because we give money to children if they have high academic achievement they will have motivation to do it better but it can be may be harmful to children if they use the pocket money to buy cigarette or drugs.If the parents give their children money, they have to make sure that they know what their kids are using the pocket money that their parents give for what.But I think the parents don't need to give their kids money instead that they can promise with their kids that they can buy them school supplise, comics, books, toys or take them out at the weekends.If they don't do that or can't manage their children' spending amount, the kids can overspend.
I think this can be a good trend for students to striving and can be a bad trend if parents can't control thier children to use for what purpose.
