The disappearing island

       Can you imagine to live (sau to là một động từ nguyên mẫu) on an island that might disappear under the water in the near future? Well, the inhabitants of Tuvalu don’t need to imagine this. It’s a reality and they will probably be made to leave (be made to do something) their island soon. The reason for this is global warming. This is expected to bring (sau to là một động từ nguyên mẫu) further changes to climates all over the world and cause sea levels to rise (sau to là một động từ nguyên mẫu). ​Tuvalu, situated in the Pacific ocean halfway between Hawaii and Australia, is one of the most beautiful and unique places on Earth, but its highest point is just under 5m above sea level. Tuvaluans are interested in making (interested in + V_ing) their problem known to the world. Living (Động từ thêm –ing đứng đầu câu đóng vai trò là một chủ ngữ) on the island is already difficult and they need help in finding (đóng vai trò là một chủ ngữ) a solution. If this doesn’t happen, Tuvalu, with a population of about 12,000 people , may become (may _ V - inf) the first country following mythical Atlantis in to the ocean.
