Last year, my mom , my brother and I secretly prepared a birthday party for my dad . As usual, we booked a table at a restaurant near the West Lake. My dad thought it was just a normal meal. My brother came there first to finish all the decoration as well as discussing everything with the staff there. I stayed at home with my parents, helped my dad cchoose a set of clothes and then went to the restaurant. When we came in, all the lights were turned off. My dad seemed confused a little bit. Right after that, the song “Happy Birthday” started being played and the lights were turned on. My brother was standing by the table on which there was a birthday cake. There were letter balloons creating Happy Birthday words. My dad was totally surprised and he didn’t know what to do but smile. He received the gift from her wife, made a wish and blew the candles. I can feel the happiness inside my dad. That night, we ate and talked a lot.
