1. Cool the burn immediately so as to minimize tissue damage.

2. Put the affected part under a running cold tap.

3. Cover the burned area with a thick sterile dressing.

4. Clean the victim's wound with soap and warm water.

5. Give the victim an anti-tetanus injection as soon as possible.

6. Alevate the patient's feet or lower his head below the level of the heart

7. Give the victim a cup of tea when he revies

8. Don't give the victim drugs or alcohol
