There are a lot of festivals in my country, for example Tet, Women’s Day, Children’s Day, Mid-Autumn Festival and so on. But I like Tet the most because Tet is the time for family members to reunion. When Tet comes, my parents clean and decorate my house, make Chung cakes, buy some food and drink such as cookies, candies, fruits and melon seeds to offer our guests. At that time there are a lot of flowers. The trees and plants are fresh. The sky is blue and the grass is green. My parents and I will visit my grandparents and give them best wishes for New Year and I can get lucky money from them. I’m the most eager because my parents will buy me new clothes. I enjoy Tet’s atmosphere when all members of my family stay and talk together.

As we know , Tet is the most important and famous holiday in Vietnam. It is celebrated all over the country. It is celebrated from late January to early Febuary- Lunar Calendar.Before Tet, people who work far from home go back to gather with their family for the most important holiday. People clean up their houses, decorate it with beautiful flowers , trees , ... On Tet holiday, people cook special food to show their dedication to their ancestors. A dish of 5 different kinds of fruit is also put on the altar as a tradition. People go to relatives' and friends' houses to wish them good luck, prosperity and health. Children are always given lucky money in the red envelope from their family on this occasion. Tet is the oppoturnity for everyone to gather with their family, to rest after a long hard-working year, to refresh and prepare for a brand new year of greatness and happiness.
