Despite simple layout, the colour harmony really makes it distinctive. While contemplating the picture, there is unexplainable sadness inside. It gives the seers the feeling of peace, warmth and familiarity. I think its success is to touch seers' hearts. Levitan's delicacy and talent for the picture has completely impressed seers all over the world.
