Some people really prefer to live in the downtown because of its facilities. But I prefer to live in the countryside because of many reasons. Life in the countryside is quite different from that in the city. First, it is the atmosphere that differentiates the two living environments. In the countryside, the air and water are much fresher and safer, thus living there is totally comfortable and beneficial for our health. In contrast, people who live in big cities suffer from health problems and diseases related to poor air quality and sources of polluted water. Second, prices and costs of living are cheaper in the countryside than in big cities. Vegetables, fruits and meats are home-grown and home-produced. However, in cities, people have to go shopping for them. Third, the interpersional relationships are more harmonious and friendlier. Those who live in the same village, especially neighbours, for example, know each other very well. There is a close-knit cooperation between people in working and many other daily activities. On the contrary, negatively speaking, city people only live and know their own business. They hardly care about who their neighbours are and what they do. Sending a helping hand, as a result, is never seen among city people. In conclusion, although the city life holds many advantages that make life more convenient, I always prefer living in the countryside where the environment is nice, the costs of living is affordable, and the intimate relationships among people are really meaningful. Personally, If I had a choice between a villa in the city and a small house with garden surrounding, the latter would seem better to me.

The countryside is a place worth living. However, this place also has certain advantages and disadvantages.

The advantage we have is the fresh air. The space here is open, water and air are not polluted, nor are there traffic congestion. That’s why you don’t have to worry about your health. There are many rivers in the countryside, and some places have seas. There are many animals in the country that we can catch and breed. The fact that there are many rivers also helps trees and fields to be green. Countryside land is relatively large. You can easily build a big house with a large yard. Everything in the countryside is cheaper and so you can save and buy more things. One of the most important advantages in the countryside is safety. There is very little crime or very little robbery happening.

Many advantages are like that, but in the countryside, there are also many difficulties. The income level in the countryside is not high. It is difficult for people to find a part-time job to increase their income. Unemployment also occurs because there are no factories, companies or enterprises. In the countryside, there aren’t many interesting places to go in their spare time. The schools here are less, not up to standard. There is a shortage of medical equipment in hospitals, and the qualifications of doctors are not high.

The countryside have many advantages but many people still decide to live in cities because they want a higher standard of living. But for me, I still prefer living in the countryside.

Nông thôn là một nơi đáng sống. Tuy nhiên nơi đây cũng có những thuận lợi và khó khăn nhất định. 

Lợi thế mà chúng ta có là bầu không khí trong lành. Không gian ở đây thoáng đãng, nước và không khí không bị ô nhiễm, cũng không bị tình trạng tắc đường. Chính vì vậy bạn không phải lo tới sức khỏe của mình. Nông thôn có nhiều sông ngòi, một số nơi có biển. Trong nước có nhiều động vật chúng ta có thể đánh bắt và chăn nuôi. Việc có nhiều sông ngòi cũng giúp cho cây cối, đồng ruộng xanh tốt. Đất đai ở nông thôn tương đối rộng. Bạn có thể dễ dàng xây một ngôi nhà to với cái sân rộng. Mọi thứ ở nông thôn đều rẻ hơn và vì thế bạn có thể tiết kiệm và mua được nhiều thứ hơn. Một lợi thế hơn cả ở nông thôn đó là sự an toàn. Có rất ít tội phạm hay ít có tình trạng cướp giật xảy ra. 

Nhiều thuận lợi như vậy nhưng ở nông thôn cũng tồn tại không ít khó khăn. Mức thu nhập ở nông thôn là không cao. Mọi người khó có thể tìm kiếm một công việc làm thêm để tăng thu nhập. Tình trạng thất nghiệp cũng xảy ra nhiều do không có các nhà máy, công ty hay xí nghiệp. Ở nông thôn không có nhiều nơi thú vị để đi trong thời gian rảnh rỗi. Trường học ở đây ít hơn, không đạt tiêu chuẩn. Các bệnh viện thiếu hụt dụng cụ y tế, trình độ chuyên môn của bác sĩ không cao. 

Nông thôn có nhiều thuận lợi nhưng nhiều người vẫn quyết định chọn sống ở thành phố vì họ muốn có mức sống cao hơn. Nhưng với tôi, tôi vẫn thích sống ở nông thôn hơn.
