Mars is called the Red Planet because of its reddish surface. There have been many explorations to Mars by humans since the mid-20th century. Scientists hope that we can find another planet to accommodate human life.
.There are major reasons why the climate on Mars is unsuitable for human life. Temperatures on Mars can be as low as -87 degrees Celsius and rarely get above 0 degrees Celsius. But the bigger problem is the lack of oxygen. 95% of the atmosphere is carbon dioxide (C02), and this is poisonous to breathe. Moreover, there is no water on Mars even though scientists have found traces of it.
However, as early as the mid-19th century, scientists discovered that Mars had some similarities to Earth. A day on Mars is 24 hours, 39 minutes and 35 seconds, almost the same as a day on Earth. Mars also experiences seasons just as Earth does. However, the seasons are twice as long because a year on Mars lasts about twice as long as an Earth year.

I do believe there is another life in the universe. Who live on it are called aliens. An alien may look like small green humanoids flying around in metal discs. Up to now there have been many rumors that aliens have visited the earth. I don't believe it as I haven't seen it with my naked eye. People usually see them on UFOs - which are undefined flying objects. I have never seen a UFO before and my friends haven't seen it, either. However, we have seen many movies on this topic. My favorite alien from a movie called Alien is Chewie because while he is very tough he’s also a big softy. In my lifetime, people have conducted many space travelling trip and I think they will continue pursuing the dream of exploring this magical universe.

Mọi người thường nhìn thấy chúng trên UFO - là những vật thể bay không xác định. Tôi chưa bao giờ nhìn thấy UFO trước đây và bạn bè của tôi cũng không nhìn thấy nó. Tuy nhiên, chúng tôi đã xem nhiều bộ phim về chủ đề này. Người ngoài hành tinh yêu thích của tôi trong một bộ phim có tên Alien là Chewie bởi vì trong khi anh ấy rất cứng rắn, anh ấy cũng là một người mềm mại lớn. Trong cuộc đời của tôi, mọi người đã thực hiện nhiều chuyến du hành không gian và tôi nghĩ họ sẽ tiếp tục theo đuổi ước mơ khám phá vũ trụ kỳ diệu này.
