Tet or Lunar New Year holiday is the most important holiday for Vietnamese people

They 

+ often visit relatives and close friends on the second day of the holiday.

+ often buy beach blossoms and marigolds which are traditional flowers on Tet holiday

+Before Tet, they usually clean and decorate their homes

+ make a special meals with special food such as sticky rice cakes anh Banh Chung cakes

The differences

+ The ceremonies are less complicated in modern weddings

+  wedding expenses these days are much greater than in the past.

+ The reception is the most expensive, especially if it is held in a big hotel.

+The bride and groom also get money as presents from the guests

1 . the most important holiday for Vietnamese is Tet.Tet is when everyone go to their hometown and gather with their families to celebrate Tet.During Tet , people cook ' chung cake ' , give and receive lucky money , visit siblings and talk with their sugulased.

2 . A traditional wedding is where all the bride and groom's families gather, eat,celebrate the wedding and talk.It's held at a place such as the cultural house or the church and they are solemn in nature . 

     A modern wedding however , is held at luxury wedding centers and they eat , celebrate the wedding and inviting wine to the elders.it is open and modern in nature
