In Vietnam, there's a really joyful festival called: Mid-autumn festival and it is my favorite festival in every year. In this festival, we making paper lanterns, colorful maskes and beautiful lions for lion dances. We also enjoy moon cakes which are really delicious, there are many types of moon cakes, the most famous are salted eggs (which is my favorite), mixed and green bean. At night children bring their latern, star-shaped latern, mask,...with their friends and join a latern parade, but some children don't have their latern so they just walking and watching the lion dances. Adults and old people are diferent, they watch the full-moon, enjoy the moon cakes with some tea and talking.The Mid-autumn Festival is held on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month and celebrate in everywhere in Vietnam. The origin of this festival comes from a love story of The moon Lady and The moon Boy. This is my favorite festival and I hope it will never disappear.

Every March, the villagers from Duong Noi village in my hometown again participate in a kite flying contest. According to her, this festival was held to commemorate the merit of General Nguyen Ca, the people of the village who helped Dinh Bo Linh to suppress the 12 warlords. So, right from the early morning, the contestants and the audience stood in front of the pavilion. Looking up at the sky, hundreds of ropes of different shapes and colors hovered. The sound of deep blowing, blending into a song all day long. The highest flying kite, the most resounding sound, wins. I love and pride ourselves on the good communication of my homeland.

dịch :Cứ tới rằm tháng ba hàng năm, người dân làng Bá Dương Nội quê em lại nô nức tham gia hội thi thả diều. Theo lời bà kể, lễ hội này tổ chức để tưởng nhớ công ơn của tướng Nguyễn Cả, người con của làng đã có công giúp Đinh Bộ Lĩnh dẹp loạn 12 sứ quân. Vì vậy, ngay từ sáng sớm, những người dự thi và khán giả đã đứng chật sân đình. Nhìn lên bầu trời, hàng trăm chiếc diều với nhiều hình dáng và màu sắc đang đua nhau bay lượn. Tiếng sáo diều trầm bổng, hòa quyện tạo thành một bản nhạc vi vút suốt cả ngày. Diều nào bay cao nhất, âm thanh ngân vang nhất sẽ giành chiến thắng. Em rất yêu thích và tự hào về truyền thống tốt đẹp của quê hương.
