1. Some renewable sources of energy: solar energy, wind energy, hydro energy, tidal energy.
Some non-renewable sources of energy: oil, natural gas, coal, nuclear energy.
2. I would say that my carbon footprint is not big, considering that at both my house and my school, the main source of energy people use is solar energy, and that I am in the habit of avoiding using plastic in several ways.
3. To save energy at home, I can switch off appliances when not using them.
To save energy at school, I can go there by public transports instead of private car.
4. Hydropower is advantageous as it is a source of renewable energy, therefore, it is clean, safe and flexible.
However, hydropower can cause some adverse environmental impacts. There is also a lack of available reservoirs.
TOPIC 11
1. In the foreseeable future, I suppose we will be using autonomous cars or even flying cars.
2. Some of them are bikes, electrical bikes and motorbikes.
3. It's absolutely antonomous cars, given that they are convenient and time-efficient.
4. It seems to me that the answer is yes. There's a distinct possibility that driverless cars will become a trend in the future. It might be solar energy that powers those car, but it can also be electrification.
