Topic 3:

Last year I attended the mid-autumn festival in my hometown. It is one of the most famous festivals in Vietnam. It was held on the 15th of August in the Lunar calendar. People decorated their houses with colorful lights and lanterns. Children had a lanterns parade and I enjoyed it, too. Then, we had mooncakes together. It tasted delicious and I love it. The most interesting activity was to watch the lion dance. The mid-autumn festival is the best festival I have attended in my life.

- I go to school every day by my bicycle.

- Name means of transport: Motorbike, bicycle, train, car, plane, boat,...

- Name some rules about road safety: Keep a safe distance from the vehicle ahead, never drink alcohol when drive, always drive within speed limit, never break red signal of light traffic,...

-  I must wear helmet when drive, must obey traffic laws, respect speed limits, go to the right lane of a pedestrian,...

2. Films:

- Types of film: comedy, action, science-fiction, documentary, horror, romantic comedy,...

- I like Hoai Linh most because he makes me laugh a lots.

- I've seen "Kong: The skull island" which is my best film.

- It's a science-fiction and action.

- They said it very great, thrilling and have a good ending.

3. Festivals around the world:

- In VietNam: Tet, Kitchen Guardians Day, Hung Kings Commemorations,... In the world: Halloween, Christmas, Easter, ghost day, water festival,...

- My favourite festival is: Tet.

- How: Vietnamese people usually return to their families during Tet. Some return to worship at the family altar or visit graves of their ancestors in their homeland. They also clear up graves of their families as a sign of respect.

- Why: Putting aside the bad things of the old year and looking forward to the good things for the new year.

- Where: At each house in VietNam.

4. Sources of energy:

- It's about the negative effect we have on the environment.

- I have a small footprint because I always put garbages in the trash can and recycle the plastics to new things.

- Those sources are going to run out soon and can't renewable.

- Renewable sources: Wind, hydro, solar,... Non-renewable sources: Coal, nature gas, oil,...

- I should turn off the unnecessary lights , take shorter showers, use the lights what take little electricity.
