I have ever gone to many festivals but Tet is the festivals I like best.At Watch-night,the Vietnamese usually choose the first person go home.It is regarded as the luck during a year.In the first day of New year,the people visit relatives and wish they.I and my family visit my grandparents and I got lucky money to my mother.Then,I visited my aunt and uncle.They wish me learn better and gave me the lucky money in the red develop.I feel so happy!In the evening,everyone gathered and together eat a slug meal.I eat Banh Chung in this meal.Tet is so wwonderful!I love Tet very much!

Tet is the most well-known holiday in Vietnam. It is celebrated all over the country. It mostly goes on for 3 days: 1st, 2nd and 3rd of January - Lunar Calendar.
Before Tet, people who work far away from home go back to join their family for the holiday. People clean up their houses, decorate it with Mai and Dao blossom, as well as other bonsais. 

On Tet holiday, people cook feasts with various dishes to show dedication to their ancestors. A dish of 5 different kinds of fruit is also put on the altar as a tradition. 

People go to relatives' and friends' places to wish them good luck, prosperity and health. Children are always excited since they will get their "salary" - lucky money in the red envelope on this occasion. 

Tet is the oppoturnity for everyone to gather with their family, to rest after a long hard-working year, to refresh and prepare for a brand new year of greatness and happiness.
