S + asked + somebody(sb)/wanted to know + if/whether + clause

ex: I asked Martha: "Are you planning to take part in this activity?"

I {là S (Chủ từ)} + asked (công thức) + Martha (somebody) + if/whether (công thức) + She was planning.... (Clause)

*Note:

- Khi dùng mệnh đề asked nhớ chuyển ngôi kể. ex: you -> I, us -> we, him -> he....

- Động từ chia thì quá khứ đơn vì đã diễn ra

- Câu hỏi "or not" thì chỉ dùng "whether"
