I have been to many festivals such as Noel, New Year, Halloween, ... etc. But my favorite festival is Mid-Autumn Festival. It usually holds on the 15th of August Lunar calendar every year and it is celebrated all around Vietnam. My friends and I used to go back to our old school to enjoy the festive atmosphere last year. The school was decorated with beautiful red lanterns. The children were very excited about this occasion. They prepared nice clothes, the lanterns were very pretty and of course, they could get lots of candies or cookies from the adults too. On Mid-Autumn night, children went out together, danced lion dance, sang songs together. Some people ate mooncakes and enjoyed some performances on the stage. We have this festival because according to tradition, they need to protect children from a very big bad bear. Oh god! I love Mid - Autumn Festival so much!
